The children remain in good health but have been restricted to the compound for months as Ebola spreads and threatens their safety.
Our community of 25 children has been quarantined for months now.
Both the children and their caregivers are seen by a visiting doctor monthly to ensure their health. Praise God, everyone remains in good health at this time, but school and all activities that would take them out of the compound are either cancelled or held within.
We are asking for help to bring Christmas into the New Hope Children’s Village compound.
Currently the cost of shipping gifts to the village is very high, too high to make sending gifts practical this year.
So in lieu of shipping presents, we would like to raise a little extra money so we can throw a Christmas Party at the Village and purchase gifts locally to give out at the party!
Any donation, large or small, will be appreciated.

It’s always a wake up call for those of us that visit the village to see just how happy and excited the simplest of things can make these children.
If you are able, please help us to remind these children that they matter. And to provide them a means to bring Christmas cheer into a village that serves to protect them while isolating them inside its walls.
